Frequently Asked Questions at Alvadora Spa
Below are some helpful answers to a few of our most often-asked questions.
When should I arrive?
We suggest arriving 15-30 minutes prior to your scheduled treatment time to allow you time to check-in, utilize our steam and relaxation areas, and fully enjoy your Alvadora Spa experience.
What should I wear?
Alvadora Spa will provide you with a robe and slippers. For most full massage experiences and body treatments, we recommend that guests disrobe; however, please wear whatever is comfortable for you. For Watsu pool therapies, please wear a bathing suit.
Should I avoid the spa if I am pregnant?
Not at all, although you'll want to avoid treatments using deep pressure and intense heat, such as Stone Massages, Reflexology, Body Scrubs and Aromatherapy. We do offer Maternity Massages, designed specifically for mothers-to-be.
Should I alert someone if I have any physical ailments, disabilities or allergies?
Absolutely. Please notify the spa coordinator when booking your appointments.
Will I be able to purchase products that are used during my treatments?
Our spa boutique offers a full array of products that we use during treatments as well as excellent gift items to take home.
Are there any rules of spa etiquette?
To enhance everyone's relaxation experience at Alvadora Spa, we ask that you refrain from using cellular phones in all public areas of the spa, speaking softly if a call must be taken.
Appointments are confirmed with a credit card or your room number. We encourage guests to make their spa arrangements in advance, when room reservations are first booked to ensure preferred appointment times are available.
