The Director of Guest Experiences
As Director of Guest Experiences, Sarah Escobedo has catered to the whims and desires of a host of VIP guests including President George W. Bush and the First Family, politicians, foreign dignitaries, actors, artists, musicians, entertainers, corporate executives, media moguls and sports stars. With an exquisite attention to detail and creativity, she personalizes each romantic getaway in such unique ways, that many guests have celebrated 100 visits or more.
For one couple celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary, Escobedo surprised them with a bedside framed photograph from their wedding that she secretly obtained from the couple's daughter. She even replicated the bride's wedding bouquet in a welcoming flower arrangement placed next to the photograph. As the couple entered their hotel room, they were greeted with special music - the song to which they danced at their wedding.
The Director of Romance
Robert Vickrey, the Director of Romance at the Royal Palms Resort and Spa, uses his special talents in interacting with hotel guests and anticipating their requests and needs during their time spent at Royal Palms. The sky's the limit when it comes to planning everything from a surprise proposal to helping select personalized gifts and designing the perfect romantic getaway.
"My role as Director of Romance goes way beyond ordering flowers and making dinner reservations: it's more that of a personal romance coach, especially to the 'romantically challenged.' It's designing the complete, personalized, over-the-top experience that I look forward to, and I have the perfect stage for doing so at Royal Palms," says Vickrey.
