T. Cook's Sunday Brunch

T. Cook's Offers a More Intimate Sunday Brunch with Options Geared to Diners' Tastes

Brunch should be more than a meal … it should be an experience of exquisite food, not just a huge marathon buffet. Diners will find brunch at the award-winning T. Cook’s at Royal Palms Resort and Spa, managed by Destination Hotels & Resorts, to be a distinctive voyage to an Old World setting, spiced with an innovative Mediterranean-inspired menu and live entertainment, Sundays from 10 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

T. Cook’s has devised several delectable options to satisfy the appetites of Sunday brunch fans.

Option #1 – For those who relish a decadent spread, the unique Mediterranean Market Buffet is $33 per person and includes: eggs du jour; an omelet station; shrimp and crab on ice; smoked salmon; an assortment of perfectly grilled vegetables such as portobellos, red peppers and asparagus; a variety of salads including mozzarella with tomatoes and basil; a selection of the ripest, most luscious fruits; fresh breads, muffins and bagels; and dessert buffet.

Option #2 – The Mediterranean Market Buffet may be combined with any a la carte breakfast or lunch item for $23 for the buffet plus the cost of the additional menu selection. Breakfast choices include: Mediterranean Benedict, lemon brioche French toast, New York steak and eggs, egg white and vegetable Frittata, and buttermilk pancakes. Lunch options are: pan seared halibut; New York steak or braised short ribs with eggs; boneless chicken thigh with tomatoes and potatoes; and slow braised beef short ribs with sautéed spinach and mashed potatoes.

Option #3 – Skip the buffet and order a breakfast or lunch selection from the menu. Entrees are priced from $10 to $17.

Not only is the food delectable, but Gaetano Frankel provides the spirit and passion of authentic flamenco guitar from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. A native of Seville, Spain – the heart of flamenco heritage – Frankel learned the art of his music as a young boy by accompanying gypsy singers. By 13, he was touring with top recording artists in Spain.

The T. Cook’s setting creates a luxurious yet relaxed tone to any Sunday gathering. Handsomely furnished with wrought iron tables and cushioned chairs the Spanish-Colonial décor of the restaurant is elegantly transported out-of- doors to two patios. The one on the north side of the restaurant faces Camelback Mountain. Ceiling fans, a misting systems and awnings keep things cool during the warmer months while a heated floor and fireplace guard diners from the desert chill in cooler months. The patio to the south overlooks the Vernadero lawn, framed by vibrant bougainvilleas.
