Natasha Aasgaarden, T. Cook's General Manager
Born in Singapore, Natasha Aasgaarden was raised by an English mother and a Norwegian father. Having the opportunity to experience life in many cities around the world, she developed a passion for people, travel, food and the arts, continuing to enriched her life through cultural experiences. An artist in her own her right, Aasgaarden was also a former ballet dancer, which has helped provide her the signature grace and patience she's carried throughout her career.
Prior to joining the Royal Palms and T. Cook's team, Aasgaarden served as the food and beverage manager at several restaurants and destination spas across the country. Her enthusiasm for food has taken her from New York City, Pennsylvania and most recently Santa Fe, where she gained invaluable experience at the award-winning Luminaria Restaurant at the Inn and Spa at Loretto, a sister Destination Hotels & Resorts property. Natasha's extensive and diverse background in the food and beverage industry has prepared her for her role at T. Cook's where she will be overseeing the restaurant's rebranding within the culinary spectrum, program development, operations, team management and directing all activities of the restaurant.
With a passion for wine, Aasgaarden has found her niche at T. Cook's. Natasha has earned several awards and honors for her expertise in fine wines, such as the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence and membership in the prestigious First Stage Guild of Sommeliers. One of her career highlights includes achieving Relais and Châteaux status in less than two years in her previous position as food and beverage director at The Hotel Fauchere.
