Escape the Heat in T. Cook’s Lounge This Summer!
Whether you live in Phoenix / Scottsdale or are vacationing in Arizona this summer, T. Cook’s lounge is the perfect oasis to relax and catch up with life. Sit outside and enjoy a nice glass of wine from our award-winning wine list while taking in the scenic mountain and courtyard views. T. Cook’s recently won Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence 2010 for the 10th year in a row! Our wine list is quite extensive (16 pages!) and is designed to encourage diners to be adventurous. T. Cook’s Beverage Manager, Matthew Weston, explains the idea behind offering such a large wine selection. “We want you to have fun with our list. We want you to try new flavors and varieties and leave with a new experience.”
Join us and sample a red or white from our wine list, or try T. Cook’s featured drink for the month of June: The Creamsicle. This martini takes the classic Dreamsicle ice cream treat and turns it into a smooth, creamy cocktail that is perfect on a hot Arizona evening.
Creamsicle Martini Recipe:
- 1 ½ ounces orange Grey Goose
- 1 ounce Grand Marnier
- ½ ounce Half & Half or heavy cream
- ½ ounce milk
- Splash of simple syrup
Combine all ingredients in a drink shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a martini glass and garnish with an orange peel.
